March is National Social Work Month! We honor CCS social workers who make a lasting impact by supporting students, families and schools.

Cumberland County Schools is leading a community-driven process throughout this school year (2025-2026) to develop a new strategic plan to guide our work and ensure we provide a safe, positive and rigorous learning environment to prepare lifelong learners to reach their maximum potential.

Following the recommendation of the Auxiliary Services Committee, the Cumberland County Board of Education approved a series of School Consolidation and Facility Recommendations at its regular Board meeting. CCS will continue to provide updates as this work progresses and as additional information becomes available.
