Fort Bragg High School Election Process
CCS values its partnership with military families and remains committed to providing flexible, stable and supportive school options. Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, children of active-duty service members residing on Fort Bragg who are eligible to attend CCS may request enrollment in any comprehensive high school within the district by completing the Fort Bragg High School Election Form. Celebrating the Class of 2026
Graduation season is almost here, and Cumberland County Schools is kicking things off with the 2026 Standout Senior series, featuring 17 students who represent the Class of 2026. Be sure to look for their stories on the CCS Website and social media channels beginning tomorrow.

The district is also celebrating the graduating seniors through its 2026 Senior 'Shout Outs.' Families and employees are invited to highlight a senior’s achievements by submitting the information and a relevant photo to goodnews@ccs.k12.nc.us. Submissions may be featured on the CCS Website, social media platforms or shared with local media outlets. We look forward to celebrating the Class of 2026 with you!

Register Now: CCS Summer Music Workshops
Get ready for an exciting summer of music! Cumberland County Schools is offering two engaging workshops for student musicians.

The Middle School Summer Band Workshop will take place June 15–18, 2026, at John Griffin Middle School. It is open to current band students in grades 6–8 with at least one year of experience. The cost is $25, and registration is open through May 15.

The Summer Strings Workshop will be held June 8–11 and June 15–18, 2026, at Gray’s Creek Middle School. This opportunity is available to current orchestra students in grades 5–11 with at least one year of experience. The cost is also $25, with registration open through May 15.

Join us on Wednesday, May 13, from noon to 1 p.m. for a Cumberland Family Academy (CFA) Lunch and Learn session focused on student well-being. Learn how families and schools can work together to support students’ mental and emotional health.
