Upcoming Lunch-and-Learn Session, Community Bus Stop
Cumberland Family Academy continues to grow this spring with the virtual Lunch-and-Learn series and community bus stops, as shared here.
The next virtual Lunch-and-Learn session titled Pathways to the Future: Career and Technical Education in CCS takes place on Wednesday, April 15, from 12 to 1 p.m. Register for the Lunch-and-Learn session here.
Also, the Family Engagement Cruiser is stopping to help families prepare for Kindergarten on Thursday, April 16, from 4–6 p.m. at the Cumberland County North Regional Public Library, located at 855 McArthur Road. Families will learn about kindergarten registration requirements, school readiness skills and what to expect in your child's first year.
Home Plate Heroes: Celebrating the Military Child
Military-connected families, join Cumberland County Schools on Thursday, April 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Segra Stadium in Fayetteville for a special family engagement event honoring the strength and sacrifice of military-connected children -- grades Pre-K through 12th. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. This district-sponsored event is free, but registration and a valid military ID are required. Parents and caregivers must stay with their child.
