Cumberland County Schools invites military-connected students and their families to attend Home Plate Heroes: Celebrating the Military Child, a special family engagement event recognizing the strength, resilience and sacrifices of military children.
Held in observance of the Month of the Military Child, this event will bring families together for an evening of connection, appreciation and fun in a meaningful community setting.

When: April 30, 2026 | 6–8 p.m.
This district-sponsored event is made possible through the support of community partners and sponsors. Families will enjoy a welcoming atmosphere designed to honor and uplift military-connected students.
Important Information:
Registration is required to attend
A valid Military ID must be presented by the parent or caregiver
Parents/caregivers must remain with their child (this is not a drop-off event)
