PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Cumberland County Board of Education, pursuant to G.S. 143-318.12(b), will hold a special meeting beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026, in the Boardroom of the Cumberland County Central Services Building, located at 2465 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, NC 28306.

The purpose of this meeting is to conduct a work session to receive additional information and to consider scheduling and next steps for school facilities planning, modernization, and possible school closures and consolidations. This meeting will not be live-streamed; however, it is open to the public.
