Food & Supply Distribution Drive Thru
To support CCS students during spring break, the Cumberland County School Nutrition Association is sponsoring a Food & Supply Distribution Drive Thru on Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., at the Operations Center, located at 819 Gillespie Street, until supplies last. Cumberland Family Academy Next Cruiser Stop and Lunch-and-Learn Session
The Cumberland Family Academy’s Family Engagement Cruiser is stopping to help families get ready for Pre-K on Wednesday, March 18 from 4-7 p.m. at the Smith Recreation Center, located at 1521 Slater Road. Families will learn about enrollment, eligibility and the benefits of early learning programs. CCS staff will answer questions, share resources and guidance. Families can also register for Pre-K on-site.
The next virtual Lunch-and-Learn session, titled Partnering for Success: Building Strong Relationships with Teachers and School Staff will take place Thursday, March 19 from 12-1 p.m. Strong relationships between families and school staff can make a major difference in a child’s academic success and confidence. In this session, families will learn simple but powerful ways to build positive connections with teachers, counselors and school leaders. Register here.

ChromeBooks & Classroom Technology Survey
Cumberland County Schools is inviting students, families, staff and community members to complete a short survey about Chromebooks and classroom technology. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes and responses are anonymous. Your feedback will help guide future technology planning in our schools. The survey is open through March 22. Science Textbook Review Roadshow 2026
The Science Textbook Review Roadshow 2026 will take place through Monday, March 16. Families and community members are invited to review potential materials for 5th-grade and 8th-grade Science and Biology and share their feedback. Visit the CCS website for more information and locations.
2026 Community Scholarship Cycle Now Open
The 2026 Community Scholarship Cycle through Cumberland Community Foundation is now open for students planning to attend college during the 2026–2027 academic year. Students should review the application instructions and complete the online General Application at: https://www.cumberlandcf.org/scholarships/how-to-apply-.html. The system will automatically match applicants with scholarships for which they qualify based on their responses. Some scholarships may require additional supplemental information. The deadline to complete the application is Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Drive-Thru de Distribución de Alimentos y Suministros

Próxima Parada del Family Engagement Cruiser y Sesión Almorzando y Aprendiendo
