The survey takes approximately 10 minutes and responses are anonymous. Your feedback will help guide future technology planning in our schools. The survey is open March 8 through March 22. Cumberland Family Academy Cruiser Stop: Get Help Completing the FAFSA
The Cumberland Family Academy’s Family Engagement Cruiser is stopping to offer FAFSA application support and information on Thursday, March 12 from 5–7 p.m. at the Kiwanis Rec Center, located at 352 Devers Street in Fayetteville. Staff will provide guidance on completing the FAFSA, explain financial aid opportunities and answer questions about college funding options.

2026 STARward STEM Parent Registration
Join Cumberland County Schools for the 2026 STARward STEM Expo on Thursday, March 26, from 4–7 p.m. at Douglas Byrd High School. The event will feature student presentations, STEM industry demonstrations, and the announcement of this year’s Design Challenge winners. Families planning to attend should complete the Family Registration Form by Friday, March 13, to receive free meal tickets. Students must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or teacher.
Reopening of Choice Applications for Certain Schools/Programs
In addition to Cumberland Academy (Virtual) reopening its Choice Application period, several additional programs have been extended as well. The CCS Choice Program has opened for a second round of applications for select schools. Families will be able to apply until Friday, March 13, 2026. Reapertura de Solicitud Choice para Ciertas Escuelas/Programas
En adición a que Cumberland (Virtual) Academy reabrió su período de solicitud Choice, varios programas adicionales también han sido extendidos. El Programa Choice de CCS ha abierto una segunda ronda de solicitudes para escuelas seleccionadas. Las familias podrán solicitar hasta el viernes, 13 de marzo de 2026.
