CCS Language Support Line
The district is dedicated to clear communication and family engagement for all families. The CCS Language Support Line, in partnership with Syncroz Language Solutions, helps Limited English Proficiency (LEP) families communicate by phone in Spanish, Haitian, Korean, French, Creole, Chinese, Arabic and more. 2026 STARward STEM Parent Registration
Join Cumberland County Schools for the 2026 STARward STEM Expo on Thursday, March 26 from 4–7 p.m. at Douglas Byrd High School. The event will feature student presentations, STEM industry demonstrations, and the announcement of this year’s Design Challenge winners. Families planning to attend should complete the Family Registration Form by Friday, March 13 to receive free meal tickets. Students must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or teacher.

Exceptional Children's Transition Fair
Join CCS at the Exceptional Children’s Transition Fair on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 4:30–7:00 p.m. in the Tony Rand Student Center on the campus of Fayetteville Technical Community College. This event supports students with disabilities as they prepare for life after high school, offering opportunities to connect with local vendors, organizations and community leaders who provide resources for post-secondary education, independent living and employment.

Strategic Plan Online Survey
The district is continuing the development of its 2026-2031 Strategic Plan and invites families and community stakeholders to share feedback through an anonymous online survey. Your input will help inform district priorities related to teaching and learning, school culture and how CCS partners with families to support student success. Please share your feedback here.

Pre-K Registration is Accepting Applications
Cumberland County Schools’ Pre-K program is accepting applications for the 2026-27 school year! Priority will be given to applications submitted by March 31, so don’t wait! To qualify, children must be 4 years old by August 31, 2026, and reside in Cumberland County. For more details and to apply online, visit the CCS Pre-K website.
