During the regular monthly meeting tonight, members of the Cumberland County Board of Education voted unanimously to elect Judy Musgrave as chairwoman and Jacquelyn Brown as vice chairwoman for 2026, entrusting both leaders with a one-year term as they continue guiding the district forward.
In addition to welcoming the incoming leadership team, the Board also celebrated the exemplary service of outgoing Chairwoman Deanna Jones and Vice Chairwoman Judy Musgrave. Board member Jacquelyn Brown presented Musgrave with a plaque recognizing her dedicated leadership, and Jones received a gavel plaque in appreciation for her commitment and contributions over the past year.
