Family Culture Night
In observance of Native American Heritage Month (November), CCS' Indian Education Office invites you to Family Culture Night on Monday, November 10 at Gray's Creek High School, located at 5301 Celebration Drive in Hope Mills. Refreshments will be served at 5 p.m. and the celebration gets underway at 6 p.m. Be prepared to experience Native traditions through art, dance, music and much more! CCS to Observe Veterans Day
In recognition of Veterans Day, all schools and Central Services offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11. This day will serve as a Student and All-Staff Holiday.
Discover Opportunities at CCS Choice Fair 2025
Cumberland County Schools is excited to invite families to the Choice Fair 2025 on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon at E.E. Smith High School, located at 1800 Seabrook Road, Fayetteville. Choice Programs offer innovative learning experiences focused on themes such as science, technology, the arts, culture and hands-on career pathways. Principals, academy directors and staff will be available to share details and answer questions about the numerous opportunities. This annual event gives families the chance to explore CCS’ wide range of Choice Programs designed to meet every student’s unique interests and learning styles. Attention high school seniors: The FAFSA is open! Completing your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the first step toward accessing financial aid for college. Don’t wait—submit your application today. –Also, starting November 3rd, college scholarship applications are available to high school seniors for the Robert H.
