October's recipient, William David Starling, was selected for his efforts in helping Cape Fear High School's Counseling Department overcome a challenge with schedule distribution during Open House.
Cape Fear High School (CFHS) Counselor Sasha Preddie, who nominated Starling shared the following statements in her nomination form. "Not only does he go 'above and beyond' in ensuring all of our technology needs are met, he’s stepped up in ways that are outside of his job description. Our team acknowledges that this was not something he had to do, but it was something he chose to do, and we are so thankful for this instance and all the other ways he goes above and beyond to assist our department and CFHS."
