Cumberland County Schools (CCS) is hosting a series of “Walk-In Wednesdays” to recruit new team members for its Child Nutrition Services department. The district is currently hiring assistant managers and food service assistants, with a starting pay of $15 per hour.

The weekly hiring events will take place every Wednesday from August 6 through August 27, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., at the CCS Operations Center, 810 Gillespie Street in Fayetteville.

Applicants will have the opportunity to apply, interview and meet with staff on the same day, streamlining the hiring process for those ready to make a difference in students’ lives.
