More Than 260 High School Seniors Graduate Confident, Competitive and Life-Ready

Cumberland County Schools (CCS) proudly celebrated the conclusion of Graduation Season 2025 yesterday as 264 high school seniors crossed the stage during four ceremonies held at the Crown Coliseum. This final day of graduations marked not just the end of high school but the launch of bright futures shaped by academic achievement, service and resilience.

Graduates from A.B. Wilkins High School, Massey Hill Classical High School, Cumberland Virtual Academy and Reid Ross Classical School are stepping forward into college, careers, military service and technical training with purpose and potential. Collectively, these four schools’ graduates earned more than $5.7 million in scholarships, completed hundreds of college credit hours, gained workforce credentials and contributed thousands of community service hours.

Graduation Season 2025 included a total of 17 ceremonies at the Crown Coliseum over four days, with nearly 3,700 CCS seniors earning their diplomas. The Class of 2025:

Earned more than $34 million in scholarships, a number that continues to grow as graduates share information with school officials
Completed thousands of college credit hours
Contributed over 14,000 hours of community service
Earned hundreds of industry-recognized credentials, ACT WorkKeys certifications and associate degrees
Are headed to local community colleges, regional universities, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Ivy League institutions and other top-tier colleges across the country
Are also enlisting in the military or entering the workforce, ready to lead

These accomplishments reflect the district’s commitment to preparing graduates who are confident, competitive and life-ready.
