Bio:
My name is Lenora Ford. I'm a 59 year-old grandmother. I am currently raising my seven-year old grandson who attends Vanstory Hills Elementary School. I am retired from working in Early Childhood Education for 35 years. I enjoyed every day of it. My hobbies are attending church, working in the community, reading and spending time with my grandchildren.

What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?

I wanted to expand my community volunteer work by being more involved with my grandson's school.

What are you most excited about in this role?

I am most excited about helping Vanstory Hill Elementary's faculty, parents and especially grandparents who are raising grandchildren who need help maneuvering the education system.

A fun fact about myself... I enjoy eating Coco Pebbles while reading to my grandson.

What's one thing you love about being involved with your school community?

The one thing I love about being involved in the school community is meeting people of diverse backgrounds, ethnicity and culture.
