Bio:

I'm a proud mother of two and a public service professional with a background in public health and human services. I currently work as a Human Services Planner/Evaluator, where I enjoy helping improve programs and services that support families in our community. Outside of work, I'm very active in my church, sorority, and community, and I enjoy crafting, decorating, planning events, and spending time with my family.

What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?

As a parent, I know how important it is for families to feel connected, informed, and welcomed at their child's school. I wanted to become a Family Ambassador because I enjoy bringing people together and helping others find the information and resources they need. I also wanted to become more involved in the school community and help strengthen the connection between families and the school.

What are you most excited about in this role?

I'm most excited about meeting and connecting with other families, building relationships with school staff, and helping parents feel more involved and comfortable within the school community. I'm also excited to bring new ideas and help create opportunities that make families feel welcomed and included.

Fun Facts - Share a fun or surprising fact about yourself

I love crafting and decorating! Give me a Cricut, some vinyl, balloons, or a theme, and I'll probably find a project to create.

What's one thing you love about being involved with your school community?

I love having the opportunity to be present and make a difference. Being involved allows me to connect with other families, support our students and staff, and contribute to creating a positive school environment where everyone feels like they belong
