Bio:

Greetings! My name is Belisa Kershaw. I am honored to serve as the 2026–2027 Family Ambassador. In my home, I proudly take on the role of Chief Household Officer (CHO), also known as “Mom.” Professionally, I am a licensed counselor with experience supporting diverse populations across a variety of settings. Outside of my work and volunteer roles, I enjoy reading, music, and taking part in activities that are both enjoyable, spark creativity and are intellectually stimulating.

What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?

Becoming a Family Ambassador was inspired by my desire to uplift and advocate for parents and students. I care deeply about our families and want parents and students to feel heard, supported and connected. Helping others comes naturally to me, and I’m passionate about advocating when it matters. I take great pride in being a resource for others, and I aim to help strengthen the connection between home and school, so we can cultivate a stronger, integrated community at CPHS. By organizing meaningful events and activities, I hope to create opportunities that strengthen relationships, encourage involvement, and support the success of every family.

What are you most excited about in this role?

I am most excited to connect with parents and help build a stronger, connected community within our school. Creating opportunities for families to engage, feel supported, and feel part of something meaningful is what motivates me in this role.

I truly value the opportunity to meet and connect with teachers, staff, parents, and students across all grade levels. Being involved in our school community allows me to help foster meaningful relationships and strengthen the network of support available to our families. Contributing to a vibrant, connected school environment is something I genuinely how to accomplish.
