Bio:
My name is Desheka Williams and my education background includes a Nursing Degree, Healthcare Management degree, certifications in Biblical counseling and Biblical Studies, and a certified Life Coach. I am passionate about serving others and I have taken on multiple roles in mentorship, leadership, and community engagement throughout her life. As a youth and adult mentor, former Girl Scout Troop Leader, and former PTO President, I have always been deeply committed to guiding and empowering those around me. My entrepreneurial spirit led me to start Diakrití Designs, where I specialize in National Travel Event Planning and Interior Design. I believe that every event is worth celebrating, and I am dedicated to creating memorable experiences for my clients while transforming spaces with creativity and care. In addition to her work in design, Desheka is the Founder of T.I.C ( Tillers In Christ), a 501c(3) Non-profit organization

What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?

I was inspired to become a Family Ambassador because it fits the work I've been engaging in with the community. I see it as another angle to accomplish a common goal of bringing people together and making families aware of what is going on in the educational department of our county.

What are you most excited about in this role?

I'm excited about bringing people together, creating fun ways to accomplish the goal, and working together with an amazing team of educators and community members.

I'm a Black Belt in Taekwondo.

What's one thing you love about being involved with your school community?

I love the concept of working with Families, staff, and students. Seeing a vision come full circle is fulfilling within itself.
