Bio:

I am a retired Educator, k- College and Academic Advisor. I believe that we can all benefit from the proper education of our children. Educating children is a monumental task and teachers, parents and students need all of the support they can get. I enjoy reading, writing, cooking and gardening.

What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?

I am an educator at heart and I see the need for additional support in education. I think that is an area where I can be of service. It is an investment in my self and my community.

What are you most excited about in this role?

I will meet interesting people and be able to share some of my life experiences to mutual benefit.

Fun Facts - Share a fun or surprising fact about yourself

I have a yellow belt in Shotokan Karate and I write poetry.

What's one thing you love about being involved with your school community?

I love letting folks know that learning is a lifelong fun endeavor.
