Bio

The military brought me to North Carolina back in 2006 and I've been here ever since. I am married and have two school age children. I am very big on family time and enjoy doing just about any and everything with my family. I spent 21 years in the Army as a paralegal and I am currently working as a substitute teacher.

What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?

What inspired me to become a Family Ambassador is knowing that I could play a strong role in bridging the gap between Cumberland County Schools and their families.

What are you most excited about in this role?

In this role I am most excited about meeting and working with families and the community.

Every one of my closest friends all lives in different states.

What's one thing you love about being involved with your school community?

One thing I love about being involved in my school community is that I can show other parents that being involved matters.
