Meet Rockfish Elementary's Family Ambassador!

Name: Erica Jones
Email: rfes@ccsambassador.com

Bio:
I am a proud native of Atlanta, Georgia, and have been a Respiratory Therapist for over 12 years. Six of those years dedicated specifically to Neonatal Respiratory Therapy. I currently serve in the Fort Bragg area, where I have the honor of helping care for Bragg’s smallest and most resilient soldiers.

One of my greatest accomplishments is being a Military Spouse for the past 13 years to my amazing husband, Deshawn. Together, we’re raising three incredible children: Eden, Miles, and Egypt.

Outside of work, I am passionate about giving back through community service and mentorship programs in the Fayetteville and Hope Mills areas. I also enjoy traveling, reading, working out, and taking on DIY projects in my free time.

What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?

I was inspired to become a family ambassador because I’ve always believed that when families feel supported and connected, students do better, both in and out of the classroom. I’m passionate about helping families find programs and resources that can make a real difference, whether its academic help, mentoring, or community support.

As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to feel included and informed in your child’s education. Being a family ambassador gives me the chance to help other families feel empowered and supported so their children can grow, learn, and succeed.

What are you most excited about in this role?

Improving parent, student, and school resources a and connections to help improve students growth and development.
