Meet Pine Forest High's Family Ambassador!
Bio:
My name is Gail Jackson, and I am from Tarboro, NC. I have one child, Daric Singleton, and one granddaughter, Remi Singleton. In my spare time, I enjoy crafting, traveling, gardening, and spending quality time with my family. Much of my time is also dedicated to volunteering at Pine Forest High School. In addition, I proudly served in the military and am now retired.
What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?
I was inspired to become a Family Ambassador because, over the years, many parents have shared their concerns with me regarding school-related issues. They often felt more comfortable talking to me, and I naturally found myself serving as a bridge between parents, school administration, and teachers.
What are you most excited about in this role?
What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life and to continue fostering strong connections between families and the school community.

What's one thing you love about being involved with your school community?
One thing I really love about being involved with a school community is the opportunity to connect with so many different people. Whether it's students, teachers, or staff, there's always a sense of collaboration and shared purpose. It’s great to see everyone working together towards common goals, whether it’s for a class project, a school event, or just supporting one another. It makes the experience feel much more personal and fulfilling.
