Meet Margaret Willis Elementary's Family Ambassador!
Bio:
I work as a North Carolina Child Care Consultant, helping teachers create nurturing environments for children and families. I'm also a Real Estate & Mortgage Services Director.
Outside of work, I love celebrating family milestones, exploring holistic wellness, and helping others build business that reflects both purpose and compassion to enrich the community.
What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?
I was inspired to become a Family Ambassador was my deep belief in the power of connection between families and schools. I’ve always seen education as a partnership, and I wanted to be a bridge to help parents feel heard, supported, and involved in their child’s learning journey. My background as a child care consultant and previously as a family advocate gave me insight into how vital that relationship is, and stepping into this role felt like a natural extension of my commitment to uplifting families and strengthening communities.
What are you most excited about in this role?
What excites me most about being a Family Ambassador is building strong connections between families , schools, and the community. I love helping families feel confident, supported, and involved in their child’s education—it’s a chance to make a lasting impact every day.
Fun Facts - Share a fun or surprising fact about yourself
I’m secretly a theater buff; give me a live play or musical, and I’ll be front row, mouthing the lines like I’m part of the cast.
What's one thing you love about being involved with your school community?
One thing I love about being involved with my school community is the chance to uplift families through connection and support. Whether it’s helping parents feel more confident navigating school systems or celebrating student milestones together, I find joy in creating a space where everyone feels seen, valued, and part of something bigger. It’s the kind of impact that ripples far beyond the classroom.
