Bio:
I am a Boston, MA native and consider myself a "tried and true mover" due to my own past military service and my husband's former sports career. I lived in NYC, NY, DMV(VA), Dallas, TX, and Cleveland, OH before settling in the Fort Bragg/Fayetteville, NC area in 2021 to work at Fort Bragg. In 2023, my husband, Shedrick, our children, Addison and Aiden, and I moved to Eastover NC. Both of my children have attended Cumberland County schools since we relocated to Fayetteville, and for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year, they will attend Mac Williams Middle School and the K-5 Virtual Academy. My passions include my faith, family, connecting with women, supporting neurodiverse children, promoting mental health awareness, and engaging with the military community. I also facilitate the Operation Excellence curriculum for Fort Bragg Army Civilians and a Newcomers' women's group for those transitioning to a new area. When I am not serving my community, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being involved in my church, reading, line dancing, traveling, spending time by the water, lifting weights, or relaxing with a movie.
What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?
As a resident and parent in Cumberland County Schools since 2021, I’ve learned that the best way to influence my children’s success is by staying engaged with their schoolwork and building strong relationships with the community and school administrators. The result has been respectful, motivated, and high-achieving kids. I have deeply enjoyed staying involved with my children and it has been deeply rewarding to watch them thrive academically. One child is neurodiverse and the other child is a competitive athlete.
What are you most excited about in this role?
I am most excited about the people I will get to serve and interact with.

I have a twin sister, and my husband's mother also has a twin sister.
What's one thing you love about being involved with your school community?
Similar to my career in relocation and counseling, I adore helping others feel a sense of community through connection, education, and activities.
