Bio:

I was born and raised in Grove Hill, Alabama. One of 17 siblings. Married with one child and two grandchildren. Drafted into military service in 1969 with two tours in Vietnam and supported all other military conflicts between 1972 and 2001. Retired army Military Intelligence Chief Warrant Officer of 32 plus years of service. Inducted into the Military Intelligence Corps Association for excellence in Military Intelligence. Attended Cambell University while in the military. Member of 100 Black Men Cape Fear Region, Trustee in Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 6018. Church affiliation includes Deacon, Finance Officer, Praise and Worship Team, and church photographer. Hobbies include photography, traveling, playing the card game pinochle, and listening to Jazz Music.

What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?

My desire to give back to the community and ensure community members are kept informed on the activities of the school to better prepare their children for success.

What are you most excited about in this role?

To be an interface between the school and the community.
