Bio:
I’m Ruby and this is my first year as a Family Ambassador. I have over 13+ years in the education sector and enjoyed my working with students and parents. I enjoy writing (stories and poems), reading, and I’m an entrepreneur. I enjoy learning new things.

What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?

I enjoyed working with students and parents.

1) I miss the interaction and

2) having a child in the school system I wanted to be more involved with a school program. I loved the fact that we get to interact with stakeholders in the schools and the community.

What are you most excited about in this role?

I’m excited that I get to connect with the families and to contribute to the community.

Fun Facts - Share a fun or surprising fact about yourself

I worked with a soap opera writer “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful “ during the writer strike.

What's one thing you love about being involved with your school community?

Getting to know people and helping each other.
