I’m a mom of two daughters and a college student working toward becoming a Forensic Psychologist. I’m passionate about learning, supporting children and being involved in my community. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and exploring creative interests.

What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?

When my oldest child joined the “big kids” school I knew I needed to join as well. I know how important it is for families to feel like they belong and I want to help make that connection easier.

What are you most excited about in this role?

I’m most excited about building connections between families and the school and helping families feel informed, welcomed, and comfortable getting involved. I want us all, parents, faculty, and students to have a good time, celebrate our wins and most importantly support each-other throughout it all.

Fun Facts - Share a fun or surprising fact about yourself

I have a bit of an obsession with mythology, history, and folklore. Give me a good book about an ancient civilization, a strange legend, or a forgotten piece of history and I can disappear into it for hours!

What's one thing you love about being involved with your school community?

Growing up I was always told, it takes a village to raise children. After having two of my own, I know just how true that is. Children are more likely to thrive when they have a solid foundation of people who are there to cheer for them during the best and rough times. I love seeing families come together and help each other throughout their lives.
