Meet Anne Chesnutt Middle's Family Ambassador!
Bio:
My name is Fontashia Johnson, and I am passionate about creating spaces of connection, growth, and wellness for families and communities. I am a proud mom of four, which has been my greatest joy and also the foundation of my passion for supporting families. Professionally, I serve as an educator, yoga/mindfulness instructor, and life/wellness coach. I also own FACTS Wellness & Retreat Center, where we offer services that encourage self-care, healing, and whole-person wellness.
Outside of my work, I enjoy traveling, hosting retreats, practicing yoga and mindfulness, and spending quality time with my family. My hobbies often tie back to my values—whether it’s creating new family traditions, enjoying music and movement, or finding ways to bring people together in meaningful ways.
As a Family Ambassador, I am excited to share my experiences, encourage other families, and help build a supportive and thriving community.
What inspired me to become a Family Ambassador:
I was inspired to become a Family Ambassador because I believe in the power of family and community support. As a mom of four, I know firsthand how valuable it is to have resources, encouragement, and spaces where families feel seen, heard, and celebrated. My experiences as both an educator and a wellness coach have shown me how families thrive when they are connected and supported. I want to use my voice and experiences to uplift others, share resources, and help create a network where families feel empowered to grow together.
What I’m most excited about in this role:
I’m most excited about building meaningful connections with families and being a bridge between them and the resources that can truly support their needs. I look forward to creating a sense of belonging, sharing knowledge, and helping families feel empowered in their journeys. For me, it’s about celebrating small wins, offering encouragement, and being part of a community that lifts one another up.

I once went skydiving and jumped out of an airplane—it was one of the most freeing experiences of my life. In that moment, I felt like life was beginning again.
What's one thing you love about being involved with your school community?
One thing I love about being involved with my school community is the opportunity to foster inclusion and create a welcoming space where every family feels seen and valued. I enjoy learning and understanding the school environment, connecting parents with one another, and helping to educate and empower families. At the same time, I believe in having fun and spreading love—because when we support, celebrate, and lift each other up, the whole school community thrives.
