Meet Alma Easom Elementary's Family Ambassador!
Bio:
I am born and raised in Fayetteville, NC and grew up attending CCS Kindergarten through 12th grade. After college, I started my career in education as a CCS elementary school teacher and assistant principal. After the birth of my first child, I joined my father's business at Warren Insurance Group. Today, I serve as Chief Operations Officer for our company and love finding ways to connect our agency to meaningful community events and sponsorships. I have two children, ages 6 and 4. My oldest, Michael, is currently in 1st grade at Alma Easom and my youngest, Sloane, will start Kindergarten in 2026. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family at the beach, playing tennis, reading, and traveling.
What inspired you to become a Family Ambassador?
From a young age, I have had a passion for working with children and their families. I served as a teacher and assistant principal in the CCS system from 2011-2020. My oldest child currently attends first grade in CCS. I feel fortunate to have grown up attending CCS schools and to have been surrounded by wonderful teachers, school staff, and families. In the Family Ambassador role, look forward to supporting other children and their families to ensure they have a wonderful experience and feel connected to their child's school and educational experience.
What are you most excited about in this role?
I am most excited to get to know more CCS students and their families and help ensure they feel connected to their child's school and are knowledgeable of the resources and support systems available to them to help their child succeed and have a wonderful educational experience.
