Meet A.B. Wilkins High's Family Ambassador!
Bio:
I am Michele Arita Dillon and I was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I am a proud graduate of Reid Ross High School, Class of 1981, I went on to earn my degree in Business Administration from Shaw University. As part of being committed to lifelong learning, I also hold two master’s degrees—one in Information Systems Security and another in Public Safety with a concentration in Criminal Justice.
My mother, the late Mary E. Miller-Dillon, was my greatest supporter and role model, whom I lovingly remember as my Queen. I grew up with three brothers, and while two of them were taken too soon by cancer, their memory continues to inspire my strength and resilience.
Professionally, I dedicated 17 and a half years to Cumberland County Schools, serving at Douglas Byrd Middle School, Pine Forest High School, and Alger B. Wilkins High School. Currently, I work at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in the IT Department as an Epic Credentialed Trainer, where I combine my technical expertise with my commitment to helping others. I am also honored to serve as a Family Ambassador.
I am a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Queen Esther #3. Outside of my professional and community work, I find joy and companionship in my beloved dog, Solomon, who brightens my days with unconditional love.
Through my education, career, and service, I continue to embody dedication, compassion, and leadership in all that I do.
