Cumberland County Schools (CCS) will host a swearing-in ceremony and reception on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, to officially welcome Dr. Eric C. Bracy as the district’s new superintendent.
The event, themed “Bracy on Board: Anchored in Excellence, Ready to Lead,” will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Dr. William “Bill” Harrison Educational Resource Center, located at 396 Elementary Drive in Fayetteville. This is a floating event. The oath of office will be administered at 5 p.m.

Dr. Bracy has 25 years of experience in public education, including 17 years as a superintendent in North Carolina.
