Cumberland County Schools (CCS) officials are closely monitoring weather conditions as we head into the weekend.
Due to anticipated inclement weather, all school-related events scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24, and Sunday, Jan. 25 are canceled or postponed. This includes, but is not limited to, athletic events, extracurricular activities, practices, meetings and community events. Events scheduled for Friday, Jan. 23 will proceed as planned.
At this time, a decision has not been made regarding any changes to the school schedule for next week. District officials will continue to monitor weather conditions, and any changes to next week’s schedule will be announced by 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25.
CCS' inclement weather plan prioritizes the safety of students and staff. If additional schedule changes are needed, families and staff will receive a ParentLink message, and updates will be shared on the district’s website and social media channels.
