Pine Forest High School Student Parking Rules & Regulations

Permits can start being accepted for Seniors on August 11, 2025 and all other students on August 18, 2025. You must come with the form filled out and a copy of your receipt from School Cash Online.

Parking Permit 2025-2026

1. All drivers on school grounds MUST recognize that pedestrians have the right of way. Maximum speed on the school campus is 5 mph. Seat belts are mandatory.

A school parking decal is required on all vehicles located on campus. The cost of a parking permit is $50.00. The decal will be hung on the rear view mirror with the number showing to the front of the vehicle. EVERY VEHICLE MUST HAVE A 2025-2026 PARKING DECAL Displayed Daily!

2. Any student having 5 unexcused check-ins per semester will have their parking privileges revoked.

Their decal will be pulled and turned into the administration. Student cars will be locked and will not be occupied, visited or moved during the school day unless authorized in writing by a principal.

3. Students may not loiter in the student parking lot before or after school.

4. Smoking is NOT allowed on campus.

5. Playing of loud music is prohibited.

6. Student vehicles illegally parked on school campus (i.e. no decal, under suspension, unauthorized area) will be subject to disciplinary action.

7. Pine Forest High School nor the Cumberland County School System will be responsible for any loss due to fire, theft, or accident relative to personal vehicles on school grounds.

8. Student drivers are responsible for any and all actions, conduct and behavior of any and all passengers inside their vehicle while on school grounds, as well as the contents of the car.

9. Students must hold a valid driver’s license to be eligible and must show proof of driver’s license.

10. Students must park in his/her ASSIGNED space only!

11. Students cannot switch spaces without approval from Mrs. Octavia Jones-Elliot.

12. Vehicles should be parked front end first. Backing into a space is prohibited.

13. Students are cautioned NOT to leave valuables in their vehicles. Parked vehicles should be left with windows closed and doors locked.

14. Disabled vehicles may not be left on campus overnight.

15. Permits are NON-REFUNDALBE.

16. Only one tag will be issued per student. Students may register up to two of their family vehicles. The tag may be moved from one registered family vehicle to another, but may NOT be sold or loaned to another student for his/her personal use.

17. Students shall inform Mrs. Jones-Elliot immediately of any changes in vehicle or license plate information.

18. Vehicles can only operate on paved surfaces in the parking lot.

19. No passengers may exit or enter a vehicle once a vehicle pulls out of a parking space.

20. Students must obey the traffic pattern.

I pledge that I shall abide by all rules and regulations applicable to me. I understand that failure to abide by any rule or regulation is justification for cancelation of this agreement and for other disciplinary action against the student.”
