Summer Reading at the public library

The Cumberland County Public Library system kicks off its Summer Reading Program on June  1. The program will continue until August 15.  Children, teens, and adults can win prizes. 

  • Children can earn prizes for reading for 5, 10, and 20 hours.
  • Teens can earn prizes for reading for 5 and 10 hours.
  • Adults can earn a free tote bag for reading five hours. 

All prizes are available while supplies last starting June 1, and the library is having raffles for lots of cool things!  Check it out.
