WHAT IS R.O.A.R. @ MWES?

At our school, we are introducing, modeling, and reinforcing positive behavioral expectations and rewarding students for following them. This is a much more positive approach than waiting for misbehavior to occur before responding.  The first two weeks of school is devoted to teaching our students the school’s expectations, policies, rountines, and procedures through our R.O.A.R. Matrix.

The acronym R.O.A.R. embodies the vision for behavior at Margaret Willis.

We believe in Respect, Order & safety, Positive Attitude, and Responsibility.

The purpose of school-wide PBIS is to establish a climate in which appropriate behavior is the norm. Parents, please ask your child about R.O.A.R.!
