Comic book artist and illustrator, Jeffrey Edwards, met with Mrs. Brown's second-grade class through ZOOM on Monday, November 28, 2022. During the visit, Mr. Edwards talked with the students about his college training, the steps a comic book goes through to become published, and created a "Smash Up" between a Pokemon and a Transformer.
The students were invited to create a "Smash up". Each child had an opportunity to share their art with Mr. Edwards. He provided positive feedback to each student.
He advised students to practice drawing every day.
