Reading Takes You Places

Share your Reading Experience with us!  Record a video of yourself reading a children's book.

Guidelines:

• Record in landscape format
• File Types: MP4, MPEG4, MOV, AVI, WMV
• Submit videos to goodnews@ccs.k12.nc.us
• Only one submission per person
• All videos will be considered but are not guaranteed to be used

Ideas for your Video:

• Be sure to tell where you are reading from
• Introduce the name of your book and the name of the author
• Children can read to a pet, their parents, grandparents, dolls, stuffed animals, whoever they want
• Adults should read as if to a group of children, show pictures, and such.
• Be creative, costume and/or videos, anything to make the reading memorable!
• Keep submissions brief and engaging.

Deadline for Video Submissions will be Wednesday, February 24, 2021.

By submitting a video you are giving permission for the video to be shared with Cumberland County Schools students.
