SHARE YOUR READING EXPERIENCE WITH US

Record a video of yourself reading a children’s book.

IDEAS FOR YOUR VIDEO:

  • Be sure to tell where you are reading from.
  • Introduce the name of your book and the
    name of the author.
  • Children can read to a pet, their parents,
    grandparents, dolls, stuffed animals,
    whoever they want.
  • Adults should read as if to a group of
    children, show pictures, and such.
  • Be creative, costume and/or voices,
    anything to make the reading memorable!
  • Keep submissions brief and engaging.

GUIDELINES

  • Record in landscape format.
  • File Types: MP4, MPEG4, MOV, AVI, WMV
  • Submit videos to
    goodnews@ccs.k12.nc.us.
  • Only one submission per person.
  • All videos will be considered but are not
    guaranteed to be used.

DEADLINE FOR VIDEO SUBMISSIONS WILL BE WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2021.

By submitting a video you are giving permission for the video to be shared with Cumberland County Schools students.
