Upcoming CCS Parent Advisory Council Meeting
The Exceptional Children's November Parent Advisory Council meeting will be held on Monday, November 20 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. in Board Room of the Central Services building, located at 2465 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, NC 28306. Cumberland County Schools' Compliance Team will be sharing helpful information about IEPs and the re-evaluation process.

Nov. 20 Committed CommUNITY Chat with Dr. Connelly in the Westover Attendance Area
Join Dr. Connelly during his next Committed CommUNITY Chat, which takes place in the Westover Attendance Area on Monday, November 20 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the cafeteria at Ben Martin Elementary School. The Superintendent is looking forward to engaging in open dialogue with you about the future of the district. Looking ahead, Monday, November 27's Committed CommUNITY Chat will be from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Terry Sanford High School Auditorium. Pausing to 'Give Thanks'
In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, Wednesday, November 22 is a Student Holiday/Telework Workday. Student/All-Staff Holidays will be observed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24.

2024 NC Superintendent of the Year 
Please join the Cumberland County School family in congratulating CCS Superintendent Dr. Marvin Connelly, Jr. Earlier this week, he was honored as the 2024 North Carolina Superintendent of the Year!!! Congratulations, Dr. Connelly!!!

Una pausa para "dar gracias’’
Con motivo de la festividad de Acción de Gracias, el miércoles, 22 de noviembre es un día feriado para los estudiantes. Los días feriados para los estudiantes y todo el personal serán el jueves 23 y el viernes 24 de noviembre.
