Cumberland County Schools (CCS) is partnering with the Cumberland County Department of Public Health to offer back-to-school immunizations for students entering kindergarten, seventh and twelfth grade. COVID-19 vaccines will also be available at the clinics for school children and teenagers in grades K-12.
At each outreach clinic, the first 50 individuals who receive a required back-to-school immunization will receive a pre-paid $10 gift card. A parent or guardian over the age of 18 must receive the pre-paid card on behalf of the student. Funding for the immunizations outreach events is provided by the Cornelia “Neill” Bullock Wilkins Charitable Endowment. Students will also be able to receive free backpacks and hygiene kits.
Walk-ins will be accepted each day until the clinic reaches capacity. Walk-ins will not be accepted after 6:30 p.m. Insurance will be collected; however, vaccines are free for children under 18 through the “Vaccines for Children” program.
