Cumberland County Schools Announces Five New Principals

Five Cumberland County Schools (CCS) administrators have taken the reins of schools in the district. CCS Superintendent Dr. Marvin Connelly, Jr., recently announced the transfer of three principals to their new schools: 

  • Dr. Jason Jordan, who previously served as principal of Massey Hill Classical High School, has transferred to Cape Fear High School.
  • Ann-Marie Palmer, who previously served as principal of C. Wayne Collier Elementary School, has transferred to Massey Hill Classical High School.
  • Tiffany Fogelquist, who previously served as principal of Ashley Elementary School, transferred to Cumberland Academy (K-5).

Following the recommendation of Dr. Connelly, the Cumberland County Board of Education officially approved two new elementary school principals during Tuesday evening's Board meeting: 

  • Larissa Perkins, who previously served as the assistant principal of New Century International Elementary School, is now the principal of C. Wayne Collier Elementary School.
  • Sherrill Haley, who most recently served as the assistant principal of Ashley Elementary School, is now the principal of Ashley Elementary School.
