For just $8 you can become a member of the Honeycutt PTA. A membership that can have a huge impact on your child's education, elementary school experience, and the community here at Honeycutt. We welcome and encourage you to sign up and join us in making this year fun and exciting for all our little Panthers!
Does my membership even make a difference?
Absolutely! Research shows that children with involved parents thrive in countless ways. They have fewer absences and perform better in school. Your child will enjoy seeing you get involved and giving back. In addition, a portion of your membership fee is used to help purchase items that benefit the school and the students. In the past, the PTA have purchased computers, musical instruments, playground equipment, and much more! At the end of the day, your membership really does help in a BIG way!
I'm so busy, how can I get involved?
This past year has been challenging to say the least. Life has kept us on our toes and it's hard to find time for just "one more thing." But we promise this is one thing worth squeezing in. Joining the PTA does not mean you're obligated to volunteer. You can be involved in a variety of ways. For instance, perhaps you have a talent or skill that is helpful or know someone who does. Maybe you have connections with people or companies that would like to partner with us to make donations to our school. There is no pressure to volunteer. You can be involved as little or as much as you like.
This year our goal is to make school fun and help bring a sense of normalcy back to our students. With your help, we believe we will be one step closer to making this goal a reality!
