Theater Arts Present: Rock of Ages: Teen Edition

The Falcon Players Theatre Club presents its first-ever musical: Rock of Ages: Teen Edition on April 24th & 25th at the SFHS Auditorium. The show starts at 6:30 PM. Run Time: 120 minutes.
It’s the tail end of the big, bad 1980s in Hollywood, and the party has been raging hard. Aqua Net, Lycra, and Heavy Metal flow freely at one of the Sunset Strip's last legendary venues, a place where legendary rocker Stacee Jaxx (Zayla Cox) takes the stage and stirs up all the drama with longtime club owner Dennis Dupree (Zach Ruppe) and his best pal/omnipotent narrator Lonny (Devin Stanley). Amidst the madness, aspiring rock star and resident toilet cleaner Drew (Jose Cruz-Vasquez) longs to take the stage as the next big star and longs for small-town girl Sherrie (Jordany Monoyoukaye), fresh off the bus from Kansas with stars in her eyes. But the rock 'n' roll fairy tale is about to end when German developers Franz (Earl Cunningham Hennis) and Hilda (Joceyln Croaker) sweep into town with plans to turn the fabled Strip into just another boring strip mall. Along with a little help from resident disco momma Justice Charlier (Amariah Edmonds), they must work together to save the strip – and themselves – before it's too late! Only the music of hit bands Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and more can hold the answer.
Rock of Ages: Teen Edition takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! This Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical features the hits of bands including Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister and others.
Rock of Ages is presented in agreement with Concord Theatricals. Book by Chris D'Arienzo and Music by Ethan Popp.
