Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for Re-entry to School

 

Q: Will my child be required to wear a mask at school?

 

A: Yes, they will also be required to wear a mask on the school bus and at school.

 

Q: Can my child come to school on the bus?

 

A: If your child was scheduled for Cohort A or B prior to January 2021, then she/he has a seat assignment already. If you need transportation, you will need to contact the Assistant Principal, Dr. Bryant.

 

Q: Will we have to complete a student screener for our child each day before leaving for school?

 

A: Yes, a screener will be on the W.T. Brown website to complete each day.

 

Q: What cohort is my child in?

 

A: A letter was sent out from W.T. Brown Administration to inform all parents of their child’s cohort. Your child’s teacher can share that information with you if you are not sure which cohort your child is in.

 

Q: What day/time does the cohort schedule begin?

 

A: March 15, 2021 at 7:30 am

 

Q: Will my child have to wear a uniform to school?

 

A: No, we are a uniform school but, we are not enforcing that rule at this time.

 

Q: What happens if my child has Covid-19 symptoms while in school?

 

A: Your child will be placed in our isolation room and you will be contacted immediately to pick your child up.
