May 21-26, 2021 - ALL CALL TRANSCRIPT

The deadline to request that your child participates in the second opportunity to test was Tuesday, May 18th.  This opportunity is for students who did not score proficient on the EOG and EOC.  Students will be remediated during the summer school program, which  begins Monday, May 24th and will last for two days.  Summer school hours are from  8:00 am-11:30 am.  Students will test: May 25, 2021, 12:00 pm for Science, and  May 26, 2021, 8:00 am for Math.  Breakfast and Lunch will be served each day. Please have your students here on time.  Students will not be allowed to test if they arrive late.

There are 2 survey links available on the PFMS website. One is about uniforms and the other is for community stakeholders. Please take a minute to give your opinion today!

Friday, May 21 - is a 2-hour early release day. Car riders should be picked up at 12:30 pm. If you still have books, a hotspot, or a laptop/charger, they should be returned today to the front office between 1:00-2:30 to avoid the normal car-rider traffic.

We will work as quickly as possible to get your materials checked in! You can help by:
  • Please make sure it has a charge so we can check to see it works.
  • Please clean the laptop and charger prior to return.
  • Leave all barcode labels in place (including student name labels on the charger and laptop).
  • If you can return it in the Ziploc bag it was issued in, we would appreciate it!

Additional Drop-off times for next week will be:

  • Monday May 24 - 8:00-3:30
  • Tuesday May 25 - 8:00-3:30
  • Wednesday May 26 - 8:00-3:30

Summer School laptops

Every laptop is being collected this year to be updated and refreshed for summer school and the upcoming school year. There will be more information forthcoming about how to get your summer school laptop.

A word about chargers (Per Cumberland County Technology Department):

After Market chargers are not acceptable replacements for Original Lenovo Chargers. After Market chargers compromise the overall life of the battery and reduces the ability to get through a full day of instruction without dying.  Your child's account will be charged unless you return the original charger (in working condition).

The PFMS family wishes all our families a safe and happy summer!
