Good evening, Eagle Families. I am Kailey Hill, principal of Manchester Elementary School, and this is your Manchester Principal’s Minute.
Wednesday and Thursday (March 31st and April 1st) are asynchronous learning days for all students. This means no live instruction. All assignments will be in Canvas.
Friday, April 2nd is a student and staff holiday.
Monday, April 5th through Friday, April 9th is Spring Break. There will be no assignments in Canvas. We do encourage students to read, read, read. They may also complete iStation and SuccessMaker or catch up on late assignments.
Monday, April 12th will move to Plan A. So all families who opted for blended learning will attend school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from April 12th until the end of the school year which is May 22nd.
Families, you need to complete the Symptom Screener before your child leaves home for school. The Symptom Screener is sent to your child’s email every day. You can also the link in Class Tag or go to the Cumberland County Schools website. Click on Family. Then click on the Symptom Screener on the days your child is scheduled to come to the school building.
Last but not least, report cards for the 3rd quarter posted to the parent portal last week. If you haven’t seen your child’s report card, you really need to take a look at it. You have access to the Parent Portal to view your child’s grades at any time. If you need help doing so, please contact us at the school.
This has been your Manchester Principal’s Minute. Have a good evening and a great week.
