  • CCS Launches New Website Design

    Cumberland County Schools (CCS) is kicking off the new year with a newly designed website. Still at the same address, www.ccs.k12.nc.us, the redesigned “look and feel” features larger graphics, easier access to popular pages and a mobile-friendly design. The new design flows down to school subsites.

  • CCS Delays Return to In-Person Learning until March 15

    During the Cumberland County Board of Education’s monthly meeting, Superintendent Dr. Marvin Connelly, Jr., announced an updated plan for students on the traditional and early college calendars to begin the transition to Plan B (a combination of in-person and virtual learning) on March 15, 2021, contingent upon the metrics and other factors that district officials continue to monitor.

    District Officials have postponed high school testing. End-of-Course (EOC) and Career and Technical Education (CTE) testing at high schools in Cumberland County Schools (CCS) will now take place in 2021, following the winter break.
