Thousands of CCS Employees Receive COVID-19 Vaccine
To date, more than 3,500 Cumberland County Schools (CCS) employees have received the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. Currently, CCS has more than 6,000 full-time employees and nearly 2,000 staff members serving as part-time employees, substitute teachers, contractors and student teachers.

2020 was a year filled with unprecedented trials and uncertainty across the world, but that didn’t stop Cumberland County Schools (CCS) from providing a safe, positive, and rigorous learning environment to prepare lifelong learners to reach their maximum potential. CCS moves forward with The Cumberland Commitment: Strategic Plan 2024 and is making progress toward accomplishing goals set in all four priority areas.
