Comic Book Club
CRES Comic Book Club is open to grades 3-5. It is geared for those students who love superheroes, graphic novels, comic books, comic movies, and art. In our meetings we talk about how comic books are written and designed. We also work on drawing, writing, reading and discussing the different types of comics. By the end of our school year students will be writing and designing their own comic book. -
Uniquely Me Club
Our Uniquely Me Club consist of girls in grades 3-5. Most girls join Uniquely Me for fun and friendship, but they also find out about building character and self-esteem and serving their communities—the core qualities of Uniquely Me. In Uniquely Me, girls find a safe place to grow and share new experiences, learn to relate to others, develop values, and contribute to society. -
Battle of the Books
Elementary Battle of the Books is for 4th and 5th graders who love to read. Up to 12 students from the team will be selected to represent our school at the county-wide competition. This competition consists of reading selected books. Each child on the team will read for comprehension in order to be able to answer questions about the books. Battle of the books is a great way to travel the world just by reading a book. If you are a book worm this is the club for you.
