The Boys To Men club will discuss such topics as leadership, teamwork, self-esteem, friendships and avoiding cliques, as well as being professional. Boys To Men will be involved in community service and take field trips to FSU Basketball games and will participate in College & Career field trips and seminars. Girls Empowered to Move toward Success (GEMS) is a female leadership development club. Our desire is to help our girls develop their skills by focusing on excellence in academics, self-esteem, goal-setting, social skills, public speaking, etiquette, and more. Additionally, we instill in them the significance of giving back through community service. As such, this club participates in several community service opportunities throughout the year. Students in the 4th and 5th grade are selected to serve on the Safety Patrol team. These students show exemplary behavior inside and outside the classroom. Students serve as door monitors in the mornings, raise the flags in the morning and serve as flag bearers during awards ceremonies. Students will report to duty during the hours of 7:15 a.m.-7:50 a.m. They will remove the flag at 2:00 p.m. each day.

Science Olympiad’s mission is to attract 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students and develop them in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Students compete in rigorous academic tournaments that consist of a series of different hands-on, interactive, challenging and inquiry-based events. The purpose of this club is to promote fitness among the student body that will benefit them physically, socially, and mentally. We aim to inspire, educate, and encourage all of our students as well as help guide them to achieve their fitness-related goals. Not only are we here to help each student learn how to live a healthy, active life but achieve their academic endeavors through lessons and values inspired by the club.
