Battle of the Books
Coached by Ms. Dunning and Ms. Bailey
Battle of the Books is open to fourth through fifth graders. Students are required to read (and reread) books from the state Battle of the Books list and will compete against teams from other schools to answer questions about the books.

Boys To Men
Coached by Mr. Sansbury
The Boys To Men club will discuss such topics as leadership, teamwork, self-esteem, friendships and avoiding cliques, as well as being professional. Boys To Men will be involved in community service and take field trips to FSU basketball games and will participate in College & Career field trips and seminars. Meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 2:45- 3:45 p.m.

Bucket Drum Club
Coached by Ms. Coleman
A performing student ensemble that plays a variety of rhythms and melodies on 5-gallon buckets. Here students will also learn how to read and notate drum music. Meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 2:45- 3:45 p.m.

Fitness Club
Coached by Mr. LaGrear
The mission of the student fitness club is to offer students grades 3-5 special attention with a comprehensive fitness wellness program. Also, we direct students with a beneficial plan so they can incorporate these benefits into their daily lives. This is accomplished by being creative, using resources, by working collaboratively as a fitness team, and by offering comprehensive health strategies to improve the student's overall health. Girls Empowered to Move toward Success (GEMS) is a female leadership development club. Our desire is to help our girls develop their skills by focusing on excellence in academics, self-esteem, goal-setting, social skills, public speaking, etiquette, and more. Additionally, we instill in them the significance of giving back through community service. As such, this club participates in several community service opportunities throughout the year. Enrollment is open to all girls in 3rd-5th grades. Meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 2:45- 3:45 p.m.

Go Green Team

Go Green Team is a club with a focus on going green and saving our planet. This club is responsible for collecting all recyclables in our school. Go Green Team is open to Kindergarten through 5th graders and meets on Wednesday mornings between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.

National Beta Club

The National Beta Club (often called “Beta Club” or simply “Beta”) is an organization for 4th and 5th-grade students to “promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership, and service among elementary and secondary school students.
