Mrs. Jobelle Nemis

Mrs. Nemis is an International Teacher from the Philippines who has been with the Owen family since 2017, teaching first grade and third grade. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a major in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Nemis continued with her preparation earning a Masters Degree in Special Education. She is currently on her second year seeking a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Management (Philippines-based).

Mrs. Nemis has been in the field of elementary education for thirteen years now and she considers teaching in the United states challenging but very rewarding. The experiences gained here have encouraged her to strive for excellence that is seasoned with grace. Mrs. Nemis has always been an advocate of positive discipline and believes in the theory of behaviorism–teaching scholars new behavior rather than pointing out what is wrong. She has high regard for education and holds this famous quote close to her heart:

“Labor for learning before you grow old; For learning is better than silver or gold. Silver and gold will vanish away, but a good education will never decay.”

Congratulations, Mrs. Nemis!
